We never doubted the incredible oxidating power of Ozone.

Beyond that, we questioned everything. This departure with the past actually led to our ground breaking application technique and more.

We found out early about the dangers of making Ozone from a rich blend of pure oxygen. Although some companies still produce Ozone this way, O3Co. generates Ozone with outside air and drys it prior to sending it to our patented corona discharge chambers. The net effect is no dangerous oxygen build up (fire hazard), negligible levels of corrosive nitrous oxide, and more cost control. It also became apparent that O3Co. needed to create a corona discharge chamber powerful enough to generate effective levels of Ozone. Other current technology produces only a fraction of the amount needed.

Finally, the application of Ozone was re-examined. O3Co.'s innovative technique of applying maximum levels to produce on its way into storage and the application of reduced levels through the entire storage cycle was right on the mark. This one-two punch has proven lethal to even the hardiest of bacteria.

Our research has paid off and so has our technology for a expanding number of growers. Call today for more information, and remember, O3Co.'s new generation of Ozone application is unlike anything you may have tried in the past.

The success of O3Co.’s use of ozone as a preventative measure against disease and bacteria for crops during storage is undeniable.

Ozone has been used safely and effectively in water treatment for nine decades, anywhere from a few gallons to millions of gallons per day. It is approved in the U.S. and is generally recognized as safe (GRAS) for treatment of bottled water and as a sanitizer for process trains in bottled water plants. More than 200 U.S. drinking water plants use ozonation and the number is expected to climb rapidly.

The success of O3Co.’s use of ozone as a preventative measure against disease and bacteria for crops during storage is undeniable.

Ozone is not very well understood by the general public. Ozone has been vilified by the press by announcing improperly named “ozone alerts” in some of the larger cities. Ozone, at the concentrations when “ozone alerts” are announced is not a serious threat to human life.
